Installation

Who are you? What do you do?

We’re a creative styling business specializing in beautiful installations for venues and events. Over the years, we’ve built an eclectic stock of decor available for online hire. Our bunting and props are rented, used for your event, and then packed up and reused, promoting sustainability.

How does it work?

When you request a quote via our online form, we’ll ask if you prefer self-installation or if you’d like assistance with design and installation.

– **Self-Installation:**
We’ll provide instructions and everything needed to hang the decorations. After your event, pack the bunting neatly into the provided bags and return it within the hire period. If required, we can arrange collection at an additional cost.

– **Full Installation:**
Depending on our team’s availability and your location, we can install the decorations for you. This option is ideal for elaborate designs or multiple hires. Contact us early to arrange this service.

Do you set up and take down?

Yes, we offer installation services subject to availability and location. Most of our items are easy to install and take down, so customers often handle this themselves to save on fees. However, certain venues with restrictions or unique fixing points might require professional installation.

I prefer to self-install – how do I do this?

Our bunting comes with carabiners for easy installation. Depending on your setup, we can recommend additional products to help achieve your desired look.

What are the streamers made of?

The streamers are crafted from durable materials such as cotton, satin, ribbon, and polycotton, making them robust compared to paper streamers.

Will the creases drop out?

Yes, most creases naturally drop out once hung. Due to the density of the streamers, creases are rarely noticeable.

Can I iron the bunting?

Yes, but use a low heat setting for synthetics and exercise care. A portable steamer is often more effective and safer.

Where do I get a portable steamer?

We can add a portable steamer to your hire package for a small fee. A deposit is required and refunded upon its safe return.

Can we hang the bunting outside?

Some bunting, such as polycotton designs, can be used outdoors. However, delicate items like satin ribbon or light-colored bunting should remain indoors. Avoid outdoor use in wet or windy conditions. Dirty or damaged bunting will incur additional cleaning fees.

The bunting is too long. Can we cut it?

No, bunting must not be cut. If it is, you will be charged for the full replacement cost. Excess length can be gathered decoratively or folded back and secured with cable ties.

Booking & Payment

Do you have a minimum spend on hire items?

Yes, the minimum charge is £200 to cover administrative and delivery costs.

What if I have a smaller budget?

For smaller hires under £200, an additional £100 fee applies to cover admin and labor costs.

How do I book bunting to hire?

Contact us via telephone, email, or our enquiry form. Provide details such as your event date, preferred designs, and venue measurements. We’ll check availability and provide a quote.

How soon should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible. Bookings are held for five working days from when we send the booking forms. After this period, unconfirmed bookings will be released for others.

How long can I hire items for?

For personal delivery, items are delivered the day before or the morning of the event and collected the next morning. For couriered items, they typically arrive 2-3 days before the event and must be returned the next working day. Longer hire periods are available upon request.

Can I get a discount?

Our prices are competitive for the impact our bunting provides. Discounts may be available for multiple hires of the same design, depending on the season.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit matches the hire value (e.g., a £500 hire requires a £500 deposit). Customers are contractually obliged to pay the full replacement cost for lost items or a proportionate fee for damage.

How do I get my deposit back?

Deposits are refunded once items are returned clean, undamaged, and on time. After inspection, we’ll process the refund promptly.

How do you accept payment?

We accept payments via BACS or PayPal’s secure system. Details are provided on your pro forma invoice.

Can we pay later?

Full payment, including the deposit, is required at least five days before dispatch. If needed, we can discuss taking a holding deposit to secure your booking.

Can I change my design selection?

Yes, changes are possible if your desired design is available.

Delivery & Collection

How will my hired bunting be delivered?

Items are delivered via a nationwide courier service. For weekend events, deliveries usually occur on Thursdays. A signature is required upon delivery.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover the entire UK for item hire delivery. Personal delivery and collection are available within London, while DPD courier services handle other locations.

How much does courier delivery cost?

Courier delivery starts at £60 and varies based on destination and item quantity. Request a quote for exact pricing.

How do I return couriered items?

You can:
1. Arrange a DPD, ADDISON LEE or van with driver collection on a nominated day.
2. Drop items at your nearest DPD Drop-off Shop.
Retain all packaging and ensure items are returned in the condition received.

Can I pick up hire items myself?

Yes, local pickup and collection are free of charge.

Does someone need to be present for delivery?

Yes, someone must be onsite to sign the delivery note. If that’s not possible, provide an alternative residential address.

Fire Proofing & Certification

Can your bunting be fire-retardant treated?

Yes, for an additional cost. A certificate is provided upon request. We work with eco-friendly treatment solutions.

Do you have Public Liability insurance?

Yes, our Public Liability insurance covers up to £3,000,000. Certificates can be provided upon request.

Damage & Loss

What happens if the bunting gets wet?

Ensure the bunting is dry before folding and storing. Damp bunting can lead to mold or damage. Follow our care instructions to avoid charges.

Can I wash, iron, or steam the bunting?

Bunting can be washed if necessary, but we recommend hand washing. Use steaming for heavier items and avoid ironing unless instructed.

What if items are damaged or lost?

Customers are liable for damages or loss. Charges will be detailed in the hire agreement and deducted from the deposit if applicable.
